I'm used to the performance levels of classic casting sport - something over 90% in the accuracy events is quite common - I had not the impression that trout accuracy is that much harder compared to e.g. skish 7,5g plug accuracy. Pretty much all pre-instruction assessment is subjective Phil and I think skill development is on a continuum rather than specified stages.I suppose the various badge levels and instructor assessments are the closest anyone is going to come to ranking in any objective sense but there isn’t time, usually, in a lesson to go to those […]

Yes those are the numbers I looked at, Torsten. 96’ is still intermediate distance territory. But 64 points is advanced. Intermediate would be 70-105’ distance. And 25-40 in accuracy.
